The new vertical slide view pane on the left hand side lets users navigate to
the slide desired.  This structure also lends itself well to mouse-select &
key-delete, drag & drop to re-arrange, drag & drop with modifier keys to copy.
However, the performance of scrolling down is suboptimal, one cannot control and
anticipate where a slide would be dropped or inserted. These issues often get in
the way of completing an otherwise simple task.

The concept phase for OOo 3.0 has not started yet. Put this task "on hold" for
OOo Later. I will reconsider this usability issue for an earlier release if
resources are available.
