Draw a rectangle with a radial gradient and convert it to metafile in Impress.
Save it to ppt-format.
Reopen the ppt-file and view it in presentation mode.

The display is wrong, if hardware acceleration is on.
I work on WinXP with a "ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics".

The attached zip-file contains original presentation, save as ppt, screenshot with hardware acceleration, and screenshot without hardware acceleration.

ALG: Need to take a deeper look, but somewhere in the conversions something is messed up.
Comment 2 Armin Le Grand 2012-11-29 12:46:26 UTC
ALG: It's not really wrong, it's (seems to be) painted as single ellipse parts with two edges ('o' letters) so that an ugly moire pattern is shown. The data transfer is okay (may not be perfect, metafile will be exported and re-imported as MS-metafile *.wmf or *.emf) since the rendering in edit view and in presentation without HW_acceleration is okay. It's more a problem of the HW_Accelerated Slideshow.
It's ugly, but not a defect from my POV. The higher the resolution, the less the moire pattern will be. Thus, setting to enhancement here.
