Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 25988
OpenOffice writer cannot do underdot or overscore characters.
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:33:06 UTC
The OpenOffice writer lacks the capability of entering underdot and overscore characters, which are commonly used in transliterated Hebrew, Arabic, and other languages, for example, the h with a dot under it (\d{h} in LaTeX) or the a with an overscore (\={a} in LaTeX). There is a capability of adding a dot under a character for emphasis in one of the dialogs, but the dot is too low to properly form an underdot character.
Hi rflorence, thanks for using and supporting OpenOffice... reassigned to es @es: Hi es, I think this is something for you...?
->MCI: no it's not for me but it's an enhancement. ->bh: please have a look.
