Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 39090
Docked window layout is changed after page preview
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:25:40 UTC
I have the stylist docked in the top left corner of my writer window, and the navigator in the bottom left. I adjust the split line between the two of them so they are roughly equal in size. if i do a page preview, then close the preview, the stylist on the top left is almost as tall as the main window, and the navigator on the bottom left is squished down into the corner. the page preview function should not cause the docked windows to forget their relative sizes.
reassigned to HI.
Please provide an before and after screenshot of the docked navigator&stylist. Thanks.

see attached png images taken with ksnapshot. note that i had to grab the adjuster between the two docked windows and move it slightly in order to trigger the bug this time. when i opened up OOO today, it had remembered the position from before, and page preview did not affect that position. i had to change the split point in this session before the bug appeared.
most likely a duplicate of issue 28515
HI->MBA: Please check whether it is really double to i28515. There it occurs with OLE and here with PagePreview.
I just wanted to report nearly the same problem: I arranged the stylist on top of the navigator, bot to the left of the document. Exactly the same way, as in the image before.png. Then I called "file" - "new" - "text document". The new document arranges the navigator to the right of the sylist, not below, as it should.
Additional information to my comment above: After closing and restarting the OO, the layout opens as expected, even though, when I open "file" - "new" - "text document", so it seems that the new settings are not stored correctly unless you quit OO.
Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
