Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 74010
Add "Current document" to compatibility option 'Consider wrapping style when positioning objects'
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:41:21 UTC
The information that the setting applies to the current document should be added to the compatibility option 'Consider wrapping style when positioning objects'. Reading the spec this seems to be a per document setting, but this is not explicitly mentioned in the spec. So the spec neets to be changed too.
All the compatibility options are document specific and will be saved in the file format of a document. Thus, I do not think it needs to be mentioned in the dialog.
Closed.
if really all those options are stored in the document, then the situation is even worse. At the moment, some of the options are tagged with the string "current document". This would imply, that only these settings are per document - others are not. unfortunately I found no spec for that. http://specs.openoffice.org/writer/compatibility/compatibility.sxw is related but hasn't been fully implement. I think, this needs to be reviewed by user experience. Can you please reassign to the correct project member?
MRU->CJ: please keep this as RFE as long as yopu are the owner of the spec "Writer Compatibility Page".
