Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 77738
unused font included in exported pdf
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:08:25 UTC
Hi, When Impress "Exports to PDF" it includes fonts that are not part of any text in the document. In fact, exporting a blank presentation will have fonts included as well. The font included seems to be the default one which is used the first time a text box is inserted (BitstreamVeraSans-Roman on my computer). Exporting to PDF a blank page from Writer includes no fonts (i.e. cannot reproduce with Writer). Extra fonts are also included if one prints to a postscript file and then converts to PDF. To reproduce: 1. Open a blank presentation. 2. Export to PDF. 3. View properties of PDF. It will show some font included. I'll attach some demo files, Thanks! C.
Created attachment 45358 [details] testcase with blank presentation
Set to new and change the target.
I can reproduce the bug. Please have a look.
Still reproducible in DEV300m84. For some reason Impress outputs two spaces with an empty document; I suppose this comes from the empty text boxes (saying "Click to add title" and "Click to add text") in the default template.
Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
