Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 95137
Using the notes view sometimes hides the presentation.
Last modified: 2014-03-28 22:12:50 UTC
When opening .ppt and using the 'notes' view layout, sometimes the slides themselves disappear from the view. This does not happen always, but once it happens, and the file is saved in either .ppt or open document format, the slides are not visible in the notes view. Currently, the only way to bring them back, is to select all the slides, and apply the 'Notes' layout to them.
Can you attach a screenshot of this please? Does this happen with special ppt files or with all?
Created attachment 57336 [details] illustrates the bug
I've attached a screenshot. So far, it has happened to 3 out of 4 ppt files I was reading. It probably didn't occur with the 1 instance, since I didn't do a lot of note taking on it. The latest instance happened right when I opened the ppt file, but I have opened and saved it before quite a few times. I'm not sure whether the other files were broken when I opened them, or whether it just happened while I was using them.
confirmed. The problem only occures if you have several ppt-Files open, edit notes in all of them and save them in a sequence.
