Description frank.loehmann 2006-02-17 09:06:38 UTC
The changed German wording from “Dia†(slide) to the more common “Folieâ€
(transparency) significantly facilitates finding the correct Menu or Toolbar
item. However, the naming of these Items is inconsistent. While the Items of
the Menu “Bildschirmpräsentation†(slideshow) and the one in the toolbar item in
the “Foliensortierung†(slide sorter) view read “Folie anzeigen†(show
transparency), while in the context menu it reads “Folie ausblenden†(hide
transparency). This is the case in either status, no matter if the selected
slide is hidden or not.

The concept phase for OOo 3.0 has not started yet. Put this task "on hold" for
OOo Later. I will reconsider this usability issue for an earlier release if
resources are available.

Already fixed in 2.2
